Because chapter 429 was epic in ways that, really, only NARUTO can be, some chapter-inspired comic sketches:

Inspired by the chapter spoilers: 429, from Zetsu's perspective. Some reference to the end of WWII on the Asian-Pacific front. Warnings? Rampant strong language, courtesy of one surprised Zetsu, one miffed Madara, and one pissed off Pein.

And then, after I read the actual chapter: 429, from Pein's perspective. Features guest appearance from Aizen Sousuke of Bleach. In which Tsunade is forgotten, Pein and Aizen strike a deal, and Karin and Suigetsu have a brief cameo.

To add to all of the crack being produced in honor of this arc. :D Spoilers for chapter 429...obviously.

Summary: Naruto and Sasuke are fighting, Sakura is ignoring them, and Kakashi just wants to read his book in peace. Team 7 at the beach.
Warnings: Naruto and Sasuke beating each other up in the background, but if you watch the show, that shouldn't bother you much.

Theres a new shippuuden english trailer on the internet.
All Naruto says is "Hidden Leaf Village, I'm home!" and "SASUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE" and then Sakura says "Naruto..." (incase you don't wanna listen)
Now, to me, Maile Flanagan should of made Naruto sound a little more like a man than a kid with whiny puberty problems

Rating: PG-13 for innuendo and the occasional curse word. The epilogue, which can be avoided without missing any story, is rated NC-17.
Status: COMPLETE. Epilogue forthcoming.
Genre: Drama, I guess, with a heavy dose of comedy and sarcasm. Mild KakaIru (until the end, when it's no longer mild. *grins*)

Summary:

Never has the term 'Copy Ninja' been so appropriate.

Wandering home from a mission to copy a jutsu that makes other jutsu go wrong, Kakashi is pretty sure the world is out to get him. Imagine his surprise when he learns he's already been home for a full twenty-four hours. Except it's not him--it's a clone gone wrong. But when it doesn't vanish at injury, thinks of things even before he does, and not even Pakkun can tell the difference... Well, who's to say which is a clone, and which is the real thing?

Finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, Iruka is saddled with a ninja that might be a clone. Mind you, an earlier drunken mistake led to great sex and an awful morning after; being a clone would be Kakashi's just desserts, in his opinion. But as they spend time in each other's company, he realizes that he'd be sorry to see this Kakashi go--and certain the man is going to.

How do you fight the facts when they're stacked against you? Not even a genius is sure of that answer.

Naruto Essay Chapter 429: Pain’s Shinra Tensei and Naruto’s Return

Narutro Manga Chapter 429 Review

I suspect a lot of people will have something say about this chapter! I almost wrote a response on Thursday, but instead I let it simmer for awhile, in case my gut reaction changed after a few days. It didn’t.

Note: Chapter 429 is better understood if read consecutively from the last couple of chapters. I recommend doing this actually. It made me appreciate this whole arc more. This is what is happening:

In Naruto chapter 429, Pain learns where Naruto is training. This means there is no longer any need to be careful. Instead, Pain decides to clarify his agenda with an epic OMG jutsu

I would like to review the chapter, both what happened and what I think about it. I don’t expect what I have to say will be unique given the amount of conversation taking place, but I would like to touch on a few points for the benefit of anyone as obsessed with it as I am. These are as follows:
