English Trailer for Shippuuden

Theres a new shippuuden english trailer on the internet.
All Naruto says is "Hidden Leaf Village, I'm home!" and "SASUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE" and then Sakura says "Naruto..." (incase you don't wanna listen)
Now, to me, Maile Flanagan should of made Naruto sound a little more like a man than a kid with whiny puberty problems

. So its really coming, isn't it? -_-
I kinda felt special going round the place knowing I was years ahead of Naruto compared to those who watch toasted TV and so... BUT ANYWAY.

I was thinking we should do a guessing game, on who would do a good job on the new roles: Sai, Deidara, Sasori, Yamato, Sasori's ultra awesome shell, etc.
Heres my verdict, which obviously I am not gonna get right (I've only seen one correct guess for all the cast of one series, which was Ouraan Host Club:

Deidara: Vig Mignonga.
Ok before you guys go 'OHNO JUST NO' I'd just mention that Vic mostly does funamation work. If he doesn't sound super-gay like Tamaki from Ouran, thats all good. 

Sai: I would say Bridget Hoffman but you would all kill me
I'm gonna go with Sam Regal for this, although Yamato would be a better role.

Now, I can't really thing much more, as I rarely watch dubs. So I just wondeirng, who would be great for the new roles?

Spots to fill:

- Deidara
- Sasori
- Hiruko
- Zetsu
- Pein
- Sai
- Yamato
- Hidan
- Kakuzu
- Random filler character (Sora, Guren, etc) (Guren is the girl from the Sanbi Arc I think thats her name)
- Tobi/Madara

At least Naruto here sounds WAY better than Shippuuden!Naruto's Indonesian VA. *cringes at the memory* And it's a pretty interesting trailer, IMO.

You know, I never thought I'd say it, but she doesn't sound half bad. Of course, nothing beats Junko-san as Naruto (hell no!), but she's...fine. As compared to the pre-time skip Naruto. Or maybe I'm just biased due to Believe it!

OF COURSE. If only they'd correct their pronunciations too. T________T It's not NAH-RUE-TOE for heaven's sake. *weep*

And LOLOLOLOLOLOL it sounds like Nah-rue-toe Shitpuden to me. >.>;;; <--- highly biased.

Ha, Naruto sounds exactly the same to me. The "Sasukeeee~~~!" shout is a great improvement from the dub's first trailer though. I like how this trailer includes everyone, but I'm ridiculously excited for this. ^^;

I'm not very good at remembering all of the dub VA names, but I am looking forward to hearing who they cast for Sai and Yamato.

I think when Naruto screamed Sasuke sound like it have been left on from the Japanese version.

Ugh, I hate Maile FAGnagan! She should never get near the studio microphone for this! Make me cringe so bad, even worse on this one when Naruto not suppose to sound like that at all!

But, I am surprised they are keeping the "Shippuuden" in the title. I thought they would change it to "Hurricane Chronical" or something else cheesy.

Although, it peeves me how they pronouce Shippuuden wrong.. Narrator saying it as "SHIP-pooo-Den" instead of "Shii-puu-DEY-n"

Nice way to spoil Sasori's face, they should not have done that. It would make it more interesting not to show it and give viewer more curiously.

Oh, anyone notice that Shikamaru in 0:21 isn't the time-post version?

Well I'm a very slow thinker (lol... not really) but in my mind I read shippuuden as 'ship u den' because its faster and more effective.

I wish someone else would have yelled, rather than Naruto.

When I went to Supanova Brisbane this year, you couldn't even move around the site. And you should have seen the cosplay comp, it was so crowded some people couldn't get into the building to actually perform their skit.

well I would have thought Maile would at least lower Naruto's voice a tiny bit but it's still the same voice :/

as for the other characters, I'd normally say absolutely NO to the idea of Vic voicing Deidara but it might be okay as long as it sounds more like Ikkaku (Bleach) and not anywhere near Edward or Tamaki.

as for the rest I really have no idea at this point.
and I might just watch just to see who voices them, but as soon as it gets anywhere near the Kakuzu/Hidan arc...Im out..they'll pretty much ruin all of Hidan's lines Im sure of it.

Anyways all I know is that I don't think Quinton Flynn fits Deidara very well. I think that's who voiced him in part I.

Actually I thoiught Sakura's voice actually sounded a bit too mature, more like a 30 year old woman than a 16 year old girl. Teenage girls have a bit softer tinge to their voices than adult women. The VA didn't really need to change Sakura's range, girl's voices change around age 12 and much more subtly than boys do in their teens. There's a more obvious change in women's voice texture in their 20's. I would have perfered in the American version they change Naruto's VA to a man, Malle just doesn't have the range Junko has. Junko's a bit too high for a boy nearly 16 who's voice would have changed, but Malle's sounds exactly like 12/13 year old Naruto, she needs to deepen it a bit. Junko does the best having Naruto sound more like a boy that age when Naruto has emo moments, thankfully there's quite a few of those, so it balances out the screaming moments when she sounds too young.

Im sorry but I really don't like the english dub... the only sane voice for me in naruto english dub is sasuke's... ugh...

...the only versions I can watch is the japanese and ours here in the Philippines, the tagalog version... coz the voices of the filipino cast of naruto are good... ^____^

Going to be completely random here, but there is a point to this. It's funny. Whenever I read the manga, I always imagine Andrew Lawerance's voice as the 15 year old Naruto (for those who don't know him, he's Joesph Lawerence's brother and was the voice of TJ in Recess). Basically, what I'm saying here is get someone else who can at least replicate a teenage boy's voice (at least in Ben 10:AF they did a good job) or have Naruto's VA should make at least an effort to do the voice as close as she can. From what I hear here, I agree with everyone else, his voice sounds exactly the same, and that should not be so at all. Clearly, a classic example here of lazy casting and/or lazy voice acting. Someone could do better than that.

My only concern is the question - Why was I laughing so hard at the trailer... it doesn't seem too bad, but my inner voice was saying something along the lines of 'oooooo! How dramatic!' :P
