I come with a question. A recent conversation with a friend reminded me just how badly I would kill for a good fic about Sasuke's adventures in Sound. And since I've promised myself I wouldn't write it (remember, I said good fic), I was wondering if any of you had some recs.

Something that covers the timeskip would be nice. Bonus points if it includes team hebi, their backgrounds, and their motivation for following Sasuke. mind f*ckery is practically a must (Orochimaru, Kabuto, anyone?) It doesn't have to be a pairing fic (in fact, I'd prefer it not be, since I'm not looking for romance), but seeing as how it's Sasuke's adventures in Sound, I'm assuming there would have been some adventures of the extracurricular nature. Het, yaoi, it's all good to me. If it includes both, that's even better. Characterization is really the biggest factor for me.

So, anyone got any recs? Do such fic(s) exist? (Since I'm spoiled and rarely go beyond my own f-list, I pretty much stay out of the loop unless one of them recommend something.)
