A/N: This is based on one-night stands, New Year's Eve, and how empty things like new beginnings can be. To me New Year's doesn't feel much like a new beginning. I hinted at a Great Gatsby theme as well. I chose the title "Hypnos" to be ironic because New Year's Eve is often the one night when pretty much nobody sleeps.
