Now I need to whos fan art is better. Mine or this other one I found on deviantArt. Mine is the one at the bottom I know it's not totally finished but I still think its better then Fadeo's. What do you guys think?

I'm partial to Fadeo's, to be honest, but I think your character choices are a lot better. I'd like to see it when it's more finished - this sort of stuff kinda amuses me. :)

No, not for any of those reasons. The whole reason I made my version is because when I found Fadeo's I said to my self "Man, I can make a way better version." Personally I think I did, but the artist opinion is always bias towards their own piece. So I will let the people judge for themselves.

Good answer. You need to sharpen up your lines, and the goggles on Maggie could use some re-design to make them pop out a bit more, but it's getting there. Some of Fadeo's eyes are far too oval.

All opinions are subjective anyway. And do you have the Deviantartist's permission to reproduce, or are they unaware that you reckon you're better than them and would like people to say so?

Personally, as an artist, I think seeing someone's piece and drawing something similar just to say "Hey, I can do better and want to show everyone else that" is a bit foolish and arrogant. It's not a matter of whose is better because that's always going to be opinionated, and if that's the sole reason you're drawing, you should stop now.

Furthermore, if you're going to do stuff like copy the logo the other artist created, you should ask if you haven't, or at LEAST give them credit for creating. If you don't, then to me, that's a form of plaigerism.

In my opinion, if you're going to use someone else's idea (in this case, Simpsons/Naruto crossover) you should do it as a tribute to them instead of "oh I can do better than *that*". It makes you seem petty.

A little nitpicky aren’t we? How to put this… the only show I have more loyalty and love for then Naruto is The Simpsons. When I saw Fadeo picture I thought it was a good idea but it didn’t reach the full potential of what a Simpsons/Naruto crossover could be. So I set out to make a better one. You know all props in the world to Fadeo for introducing the idea; I just felt I could do it better. I don’t know how that makes me petty.

Since it is not finished or posted anywhere else I don’t think it’s plagiarism. Besides Art and “Animation is built on plagiarism! Of the two, I prefer Fadeo's version. I suggest in future you only post your work, and let it earn praise/comments on it's own merits.
