Rating: T for mentions of blood.
Summary: Kakashi has his first mission. An A-class mission.
Warnings: Ermm.... i think I overrated it a bit... >.>
I killed today.
There’s blood on my hands. Blood from the target I was assigned today. It’s a dark red color. Like Hokage-sama’s hat. And shiny. Sort of like when you see a faint reflection of yourself in a puddle. It’s wet too. And sticky when you leave it there too long. It looks like cherries. But it’s not sweet. It’s salty.
The mission was an A-class mission.
Because it was an assassination. But it was too easy. Their throat yielded easily when I slid a kunai through it, cutting through the vocal chords and the airway to their lungs. The nerves to the spinal cord were also cut off, to prevent any residue body movement. The there was an excess amount of blood. It sprayed from the throat in a 60 – degree angle. And it got on my clothes.
The target was a male.
4 foot 6. A civilian, he saw too much that was not allowed. So I was ordered to eliminate him. The assignment was easy. He didn’t even know I was there. I wonder why other ninja flinch when they’re told to kill a civilian. Is it because their target can’t fight back?
The adults were scared.
They tried to hide it, I don’t know why, but they did. There were whispers behind my back. Something about being a murderer. Why would they say that? Didn’t I do my assignment correctly? They told me I had to make sure he died. I made sure he died. What’s so bad about that? Did I do it the wrong way? Was I supposed to use senbon instead?
Sensei was upset today.
Why would he be upset? I did my first A rank mission. When I told him that, he had a surprised expression on his face.. And he smiled a little bit, even though I could tell he really didn’t want to. He asked what the mission was. I told him I had to eliminate a civilian. His face became pale .I thought he was sick. But he got mad and he went to the mission desk, getting angry over nothing.
Sensei cried today.
When I asked him if I did something wrong, he had that expression called surprise on his face. I told him that it was just elimination, and that there was no struggle. So I got rid of the target quickly. And it was easy. Sensei just stared. And then he hugged me all of a sudden. I don’t know why. And then there was something wet on my shoulder. There was water, from somewhere, and I was getting wet. I found out the rain was coming from sensei’s eyes. I asked him why he was raining, and Sensei’s eyes just rained harder. He was making odd gasping sounds too. Hokage-sama later told me it wasn’t rain, Sensei was crying. And Sensei didn’t tell me why.
Tell me, why did sensei cry today? Did I do something wrong?
