What's the deal with the ANBU mask not having the Konoha insignia carved in it? Now I can't remember if others we've seen in the anime had it or not but I KNOW Haku's mask had the Mist symbol. Where's the consistency?

The topknot is too loose for a Nara...I have this impression that that ANBU is secretly Renji. the right kind of topknot, and I think the mask looks monkey-ish. and he wears the mask to cover his tattoos

I forgot about his topknot...but I still think our ANBU friend's topknot is much too big and all over the place to be Iruka.

Aizen was faking the niceness, though. I think Iruka's too genuine. but that would be the most awesome twist ever
