The Story

Konoha is in the middle of a civil war. A new king has taken the throne and the citizens have found themselves under the control tyranny. Undetected and unnoticed, those known as the "Akatsuki" have moved into the village of the Leaf and become the new rule. The last king has disappeared--he could possibly be dead or worse. People are disappearing from the city every day. Any form of protest is threatened with the result of death. And help is nowhere to be found... Suna has proclaimed neutrality. (But how long will that last?) There is talk of suspicious activity to the North. (The Sound are finally moving.) What does a person do when the only chance is found in the form of rumors... rumors of a rebellion being formed... rumors of those being lost finding their way home... rumors of HOPE? Do they cling to that thought of salvation or do they give in? Do they join those that have wronged them? Do they stay out of the fight? Do they make a pact with the enemy? Or... Do they create a side all their own? ...What side would you choose?

We are a 6 month old game looking for some new players! We're looking for characters such as Naruto, Orochimaru, Shikamaru, Ino, Chouji, Kiba, Lee, and many others. We had a lot of people drop out of contact all at the same time, but the plot is still very young, so there's still time to jump in! Check out the history and character list! We look dead at the moment, but we're only mostly dead, and as we all know, mostly dead is still partly alive! Come join us~!

Okay, this isn't an application. Just a question. How, exactly, does one RP?? I've never played before. However, I am intirigued and kind of want to join, but I'd like to know more on what exactly RPG's entail in general.

Well gee. That's not really an easy question to answer. There's no one right or wrong way to RP, so I don't want to give you the idea that we do it the one and only way. There's LARPing, there's various forms of text-based RP. All things considered, RPing is sort of like its own subculture, with its own set of values, rules, etc.

Why don't you IM me and we'll discuss this one on one? There's a lot to RPing and I don't want to keep rambling on if you've gotten confused.

Haha, I am yet another inexperienced but interested person. I've RPed before - but that was a while ago and never on LJ. So I guess what I wanna ask is, would it be all right for me to apply even if I'm pretty much a newbie? Someone would probably have to explain the system's details to me initially and such ^^' (if I were accepted in the first place, of course xD').
