Sharingan question.

So, hi. I have a feeling that I might possibly be ridiculed for asking this question, but here we go anyway.

Do you think a Sharingan user can see in the dark? And if so, to what degree?

I don't recall this ever being addressed in the manga or anime, and can't seem to dig up anything about it online, other than the basics (what Sharingan can be used for; ect.). I could probably have looked a little harder, but I figured that all of you knowledgeable people over here could help me out.
