So, tell me:

What character in Naruto do you identify with the most? I'm curious.

For me, I'd probably say Lee. The thing I love most is something I have no natural talent for, and therefore everything I've attained is due to years of hard work. Plus, I've always thought that hard work > geniuses, and I get aggravated when arrogant bastards who have the natural ability to pick things up better than others stroll in and rub it in other people's faces. It's hard when you've only got one thing going for you, and if you fail, you know that there's not much left for you.

I guess I'd have to say I relate to Kabuto. I tend to dumb myself down in everyday life, and there's a lot more to me than it seems. (As arrogant as that sounds. o_o;) Faking my way through things comes easily and almost naturally, and very rarely does anyone find out who I really am. Also, I'm a bit of a sadist, and I suppose you could say I've got a sick mind underneath it all.

It always sounds kind of funny to admit, but I probably most identify with Itachi.

I grew up having a natural knack for intellect (though I'm actually pretty modest about it, myself. I'm going off of what they've told me), being one of the most insightful and reserved children my family had ever known. After a couple of years, it started to occur to me that they began to place less and less stock in merit and just "assumed" it was impossible for me to do any less than what they'd grown to expect.

Most recently, my family relations have fallen apart to the point of physical assault, but thankfully I haven't retaliated or killed anyone yet.

...yet. XD Too bad I don't have any younger siblings to put through hell.

Uh... I feel your pain -.- Unfortunately for myself I've always been a quick learner and a rather logical type of person so some people assumed I should be the best in everything they would tell me to do x_x uh... and I've almost ended up with a strong social disorder.

I have a younger sibling, but... I'd better not say who's changing whose life in hell :P

I would say Naruto. I'm not exactly loud or outgoing as him, but we have the same intentions. I want people to look up to me per say, but I really don't care what people think of me. Plus I like screwing the rules and coming up with my own ideas. I guess you can say I also grew up as a wild lonely kid, but I tend to reach out to people I meet. Those people also call me a weirdo. Touche.

Wow. I think I am going to regret admitting this... but possibly Sakura.

I feel like I'm all bubbly and nice and such a pushover for some people, or even annoying. I used to get easily knocked down in personality wars. I was always really intelligent, but tried not to shine too much in the spotlight.

Oh, I also talk to myself like no ones business and would probably have that creepy mind sidekick thing roaring me on.

Also, I guess I've grown stronger over the years, and can really become a force to be reckoned with on the rare chance I'm ticked off or need to defend someone/something/etc in some form. [no. i don't go around smashing walls in]

I identify with Sakura so much~ I actually have a theory that all of the Sakura bashers relate wtih her ona deeper level, being useless fangirls themselves :x But that is a different rant.

When ever I see Sakura realizing that "oh my gosh, I'm worse then Naruto... I'm worthless" I feel so bad for her! She's a perfectly nice girl, but that feeling of being utterly worthless compared to your friends is something I'm too familiar with. I'm the dumb one of the really smart group, and I allways end up feeling inadequet.

I understand that one, too. I've spent a lot of my life trying to understand general social interaction because I didn't spend a lot of time around other people as a child, and was never taught how to behave with them. It's kind of frustrating.

You probably have the best explanation out of anyone here. I appreciate that. And I hope you find a way to express yourself, though you certainly did well with words. :)

Hm... *thinks very hard* I'm not really sure about this, but I'd say Shikamaru.

I'm insanely bored, lazy, surrounded by 'troublesome' people, and my parents get annoyed with me because of my wierd habits and laziness. Also my mother is a naggy control freak.

Of course, Shika really is gifted, unlike my silly self... :D

Also, people tend to think I'm an idiot, because I'm so lazy I get awful grades, then they all freak out when I get, for example, the highest score of the school on some advanced test-thingy or whatever.

I relate to Kakashi a lot because someone cut me across my eye when I was younger, then dropped a rock on my BFF, who gave me their eye because it was my birthday and they didn't have enough money to get anything else.

I identify with Sakura and Naruto the most.

Naruto - We both grew up alone, and hated. Doing crazy things, wanting to be the center of attention. Acting stupid to be noticed, wanting to really be the best. And finally we began to make friends, and people didn't really see us for our inner demons anymore.

Sakura - I always felt I wasn't good enough for the people I loved, and I was a failure. But soon enough I began to find confidence and strength in myself, and now I'm stronger than I ever was, thanks to the people around me helping me grow.

But I also relate with Gai and Lee because I am a sexy beast.

I identify with Chouji because I'm fat and nobody ever wanted to play with me except this lazy kid. And when I'm really angry I can blow up into a huge ball and crush everyone in my way. Then I turn into a butterfly to protect my friends and die.

Actually I'm not really sure with whom I would identify the most. Probably a little bit with Naruto for being able to affect other people's behaviour and maybe change them a little (I seem to have a talent to make people like me o_O). Plus, I'm clumsy, was kind of teased in the past and I like vivid colours (my favourite is red XD) and I react to sweets in the same way that Naruto reacts to ramen ^^;

But at the same time I can't help relating to Itachi as well. I'm the older sibling myself and just like him was forced to prove that I was the best one. I'm an observant type of person and probably try to use logic too often ... and I could also add here some other things that I associate with Itachi >_>; But for a while I'm not thinking about killing anyone... maybe except for a few annoying students I have ^^;

As much as I may seem biased about this, (being his fangirl,) I can relate a lot to Kabuto. (To Pre!Kabuchimaru, I mean.)

I have two sides to me; the nice and friendly side, and the very sadistic and arrogant side. I like showing off once in a while, but I don't like flaunting all my talents just to impress. I prefer being a "sidekick"; not a leader...I am happy as long as I am with someone, it doesn't matter whether I'll be better or not.

But I am a nice person when called for, and when around people I don't know much. I guess it's some sort of defense mechanism, just so I don't get in trouble with people I don't know yet.

:) But unlike Kabuto, I dislike pointing out people's weaknesses and using it against them. BUT MOST OF ALL, IT'S BECAUSE I'M BESTFRIENDS WITH OROCHIMARU. >: D
