I'm not quite sure if this is allowed but:

I just wanted to know if anyone was going to AX this year that live in LA.

I'm kind of not very active in this fandom but its my fandom of choice for the time being and I was just wondering if it was worth the trouble going all by myself this year.

I know this is kind of short notice with the con right around the corner- [July 3-7 right?] but I have no set plans and decided 'to hell with it, asking never hurt right?' so... here we are.

Also, any tips how to GET to the con and NOT get lost via bus/train would be really appreciated ^^;

I will be, but I'm a first timer going with veteran friends. I do know that it's going to be really crowded, as always - I heard there was a crowd of about 40,000 last year, and a projection of about 60,000 this year. My team and I had to book our hotel room in December, and even then finding reservations were rough. Additionally, if this is a last minute decision, I'm going to guess you have not purchased your con pass yet. At one time you could've purchased it online, but no longer. Now, you and I are both doomed to wait in the mile-long line from eight in the morning until whenever we reach it's front - you need a con pass to get into the convention, and it costs $60, last time I checked.

I was planning to go even though I live all the way up in the San Jose area. But work got in my friend's way, so I cancelled the trip. That, and I have summer class. x___x

I know how to get there via metro from the North Hollywood Station

By the way
If you didnt preregister then your going to have to get there suuuuuper early in the morning to buy the badge. So if you wish for directions let me know
(im attending AX via metro like the subway all 4 days i think so i know how to give u correct directions)
