This is a SasuHina fic and is crafted towards fans of that pairing. But it's ultimately a story more about the two characters trying to overcome their problems, so Sasuke and Hinata fans who aren't necessarily SasuHina fans might get a kick out of it too.  

Plays fast and loose with canon throughout, full divergence from canon as of the outcome of the Itachi/Sasuke smackdown in the manga.

I was thrilled when I found out that you'd updated 'Still Waters Run Deep' this week. This is a really good story with excellent characterizations, realistic love scenes drawn from each character's personal histories, and whoa, a Neji you've got me totally crushing on.

Thanks for a great fic (I've read it multiple times) and a much awaited for update. After all the drama of the last chapter, you made me giggle with Naruto's precious inquiries of Hinata liking the grumpy bastard. Hee! Typical of the Kyuubi kid and a perfect way to end the Team 7 reunion. ♥

I fell behind in my email and didn't get to this sooner, sorry about that. But thanks very much both for adding my little fic to your extensive system of recommendations, and taking the time to let me know that you liked it. I'm definitely getting my fan mojo back for this series, so the updates will hopefully come much sooner in the future.

It really means a lot to me when people who clearly are far more versed in this series and it's characters than me like my take on things. I'm glad I managed to get Neji right by your lights as well. <3
