I like to roleplay, but I have never done so on Livejournal, and am a bit uncertain about the details. If someone would direct me to a rping community that is open-minded and friendly to newcomers, I would greatly appreciate it.

If you're looking for a multi-fandom RP, adstringendum has a great Naruto cast (Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Neji, Itachi, Kisame, and Lee) and we love new players. Applications are closed right now, but we're taking reservations.

If you're looking for something more ninja-verse than AU orochiagenda is a great comm. It's good times and apps are definitely open.

Depending on what you're looking for there's a lot of different games. If you want something multi-fandom and AU that uses PB's there's mishima_miasma, otherwise I echo the shout out to adstringendum for multi-fandom in general.

I dunno if you're still taking recommendations, but dramadramaduck is a very newbie-friendly, multifandom game and has a large ninja cast, with a few of the "Rookie Nine" and a few others open.
