CHICAGO — FBI agent Neji Hyuuga is on a mission – stop a jade phoenix from being stolen from the Chicago Field Museum by the Japanese yakuza, which is rumored to hold instructions capable of bringing about the destruction of all order in Japan. To do that he needs to steal the emerald figure himself without anyone noticing. Except it seems someone else has that same plan. Someone in skintight black leather, with her hair in two buns and a disturbing ability to pull sharp steel out of nowhere. Someone named Tenten…

…And you guys, this is going to be So Awesome that I made a flash trailer for it. Yeah, like a movie trailer, except for a comic. And even if you're not a Nejiten fan, you may want to see Sasuke and Orochimaru in a suit. XP

Heh heh, I did my best to use all Chicago backgrounds, except in one shot (I couldn't find an appropriate overhead shot in all my references). Chicago's my hometown, so I love the fact that NessieGG decided to set the comic here.

The entire trailer was done by me, but I used a ton of references as a base. Basically I traced over a photo of the Chicago Field Museum in Flash and drew in the dinosaur and sphinx, and the drake hotel was taken from their website.

I AM TOO; I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL ISSUE ONE IS FINISHED (I'm just the panelist; I just thought it'd be a cool idea to make a trailer for the comic...)

Neji in a trenchcoat is definitely made of awesome. I hope NessieGG makes sure he gets lots of chances to be in one (and a suit, because Neji in a suit is also cool).

Sasuke, Lee and Kabuto all have fairly important roles in the comic, and that's all I'll say. There'll be a lot of other cameos as well!

Holy COW. Ohmygod. Ohmygod. Ohmygod!!! So THIS is what you guys have been up to......I am absolutely thrilled!! Grinning like a fool while watching it....you've really outdone yourself this time Toboe! I was so impressed by everything - the detail in the buildings, the perspectives, how MOVIE-LIKE it really was, how suave Neji looked in the suit and how damn pretty and KICKASS Tenten was with her cool moves and OHMYGOD, SHE'S ON A MOTORBIKE. And the music. And the font. And and and...*flails* I am so happy!! I really cannot wait to see the rest of the project.

Epic is the idea I was going for. >D

It'd take me about five hours to do one cityscape background, which is why I reused them a lot with different tints. XP You'd probably be surprised at the ghetto way I drew everything though; nearly every since bit of the trailer has a art/photo reference.

...And Neji in a suit is hot. Also in a trenchcoat. And Tenten on the motorcycle, HEEEEEE. >D

But really, I just thought it'd be a cool idea to make a trailer for this project. I'm just the panelist in reality. It's NessieGG who's the real mastermind, and all the artists, and Goldberry chose the fonts, and BC's doing the coloring so you know that's going to be made of win...
