Author's Note:1) I like to be as canon as possible, but since there's a crapload of plot threads sort of hovering in the manga at the moment, I'm largely ignoring the ones that haven't been resolved (i.e. Pain's stay in Konoha, what sage!Naruto is like in battle, etc). If they GET resolved as I'm writing this, I'll probably try and work them into the fic. Because I'm OCD like that. 2) I continue to be too lazy to use betas. Apologies. 3) Original notes found back at the first chapter.
