Does anyone know what the name Sakumo (Kakashi's father) means?

Well, according to leafninja.com here (http://www.leafninja.com/biographies-H.php#Sakumo), Sakumo=A name, kumo=cloud. Though I was thinking more on the lines of Saku = to bloom. Too bad I can't find the kanji for his name right now. >.>; Must keep looking.

I don't know what Sakumo means exactly, but I feel like they used to refer to his father as white fang or something like that. I hope that helps.

Thank you. I thought that the White Fang was just a nickname, like how Kakashi is the Copy Ninja.

Hm. Depends what are the kanji used, but since Hatake means ...field? And Kakashi means scarecrow, and it's like a "scarecrow in the field" joke, maybe his father's name is meant to be a "X in the field" joke too. Crops in the field? Ehh. We'd need the kanji to be sure. Sa and Saku could be a LOT of things.

Since it's not in kanji, there's really no way to know for sure. I don't think I've ever seen the word used in any other context, either. It's definitely not White Fang - his nickname was "木ノ葉の白い牙, Konoha no Shiroi Kiba". It can't be "producing crops", either, since with the "-tsu" cut off it loses that meaning.

I think your best bet is that it's something to do with clouds, but I'm probably only thinking that because the Hatake family has ridiculous hair that makes it look like a spiky cloud is pouring out of their skull.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Kakashi's dad was ever named as anything besides the white fang in the manga. I think Sakumo is just a fan name, kind of like "Arashi," which is the name everyone was using for the fourth Hokage before they named him.
