Flashing lights, feather headdresses and a sunset strip that is beyond breathtaking. Can you hear the jingle of the slot machines yet? Beyond the grandeur of neon and alcohol are the people that work the scenes and make sure the tourists and their drunken stupor have an enjoyable time in the bustling city. The bartenders that can make you any mixed drink you throw at them; the dealers the cater to high rollers and small stakers alike; the maids who turn down your bed and the cab drivers that make sure you get back to your hotel on time. It's all part of a working system. Each person, foreign to the city or one who calls the desert home, is key in making the hot vacation spot keep spinning. From those who live in the hotels and casinos to ones who make the hour drive every night to work for tips. So the question you have to ask yourself: What part do you want to play?
