Author's Note:1) First of all, loyal readers, I implore you: Don't freak out. 2) I rilly, rilly hate this chapter. No seriously. It's my least favorite chapter in the whole frickin' fic. It was one of the first things I wrote when I conceived of this story, and it's STILL not right. But it's driving me nuts, and I've edited it so much that the words have ceased to read as organized thoughts to me and have become just random black symbols on the screen. So this is as good as it's getting. In brighter news, that means it's all uphill from here! 3) General story notes. 4) Unbeta'd, feedback makes me smile, etc., etc. 5) Also, this story hit the 20,000 word mark in this chapter, and it's just over halfway through. Not only is that the longest thing I've ever written, it's also an obscene amount of fic to write about animated characters, no matter how you paint it. Naruto, what have you done to meeeeeeeeeee?
