Hmm. My first thought is that Kakashi is going to lose his sharingan eye. Then, horror of horrors, he might just be *normal* rather than "I have sharingan without being an Uchiha~Aren't I cool!" guy.

and as for Kakashi, I agree that he doesn't get enough crit, and everyone seems to like him (me included) but I think there's still something missing, some revelation that has to happen before he can be killed off. Sounds harsh, but yah.

I snagged the icon from someone who claimed it was available without crediting . . . o.O

And I agree that we still don't know enough about Kakashi. We still don't know for sure where he got the mangekyo sharingan (unless I missed it somewhere?), and I'd like to see him struggle and grow. He relies way too much on his eye, and it'd be a good character arc to see him adjust to not having it.

Besides, Kakashi isn't a red shirt, but he isn't awesome enough to kill off yet either. Everyone else is leveling up, so it's probably his turn.

Yah, I think it would be really weird if he was just killed off like that, without any kind of epic revelations and fight...
He seems to good for that.
