Hullo all.

It's been a couple of years since I've been reading/watching/generally in the fandom, but I miss the good ol' days and would love to give Naruto another go, seeing as it's on its way out.
So, a few questions: is there anywhere I can find high quality/resolution scans of all the manga? Preferably in volumes, but chapter by chapter is fine if the image quality is high. Also, Ninpouchou has long gone defunct. Are there any galleries about that have all the artbook images, color pull-outs, etc etc in high quality?

Is the scan quality decent, though? In my experience their series are very grainy...

In OM's defense though, they are just an online host and don't actually do the scans. The quality is completely dependent upon the scanning groups and what is released. Sometimes, the fastest releases can be very LQ and aren't always replaced by MQ or HQ (is anyone even doing HQ Naruto scans?).

Yes, there is some image compression when uploading and converting the scans from PNG to JPG, but really, IMO I don't need to see the images at 300dpi and 2048px by 1536px just to understand the story either. There are always links to the scan groups where you can go for direct download if you want your own personal copy as well to read offline.

I understand, but I'm looking for HQ for icon making purposes :) I know Naruto Fan's scans were pretty good back in the day, but after all I've heard I'm wary to go back.
I'll try looking for the scanlator's sites though. Thanks.

For HQ scanlations you may have a look at Japflap (http://naruto.japflap.com/) - they are a bit behind, though.

Well, the older Naruto chapters are a little grainy. But, the newer chapters are very clear.

I would suggest NarutoFan!! :D I love the quality of their scans, and sometimes the little bonuses that you get with the chapters, too!

How far back do you need to go? I've been archiving the best HQ scanners/cleaners -- Inane, Shannaro, and JapFlap were/are the best, IMO, and they're the ones I'm archiving. I can upload the entire Naruto series even, if you're willing to wait awhile. :P There aren't any super HQ scans of the super early chapters though, probably because well, it's just that ancient now.

Animay (http://www.animay.net/gallery2/index.php?cat=9) has a lot of HQ screencaps and a few of the calendar pics/etc.
