I effing loved this chapter. From Madara being a Badass Villian to Sasuke playing up the "Haha, look at me guys! I'm insane!" bit part to effing Samurai's with laser swords.

No no, that's not Saskay. That is Saskay being manipulated by Madara. See the chakra? Doesn't that chakra, look mysteriously similar to...oh i dunno...Kyuubi in Naruto???? Remember how Naruto only has the YANG chakra of Kyuubi in him also? Perhaps that right there, is Madara's storage of Kyuubi's YIN chakra, which was supposed to be sealed away by Yondaime, but knowing Madara he probably got it back somehow.

Sasuke ALWAYS makes a point not to kill anyone but his target. Its not him, don't worry.

I'm very curious about Sasuke's chakra, which seems to be evolving evilly or something? for a second it looked like the kyuubi, but then I guess that's just how Kishi draws shadowy stuff. @_@;;

i like all the action, but when madara just busted in on naruto all of a sudden, i definitely thought i had missed a chapter. random-ish?

i hope:

+that the sasuke/raikage fight is badass. with sasuke's chakra all ~evil~ and the raikage lookin' for revenge, it should be good, but definitely has the potential to end up going down the route of all of those other big fights (read: boring as fuck).
+that madara drops some serious dimes or some shit. and that he gets his masked removed. and ends up having been using obito's body as a vessel. i will never let that theory die.

i wonder how far away naruto and co is from the fight, because it seems like he is literally right fuckin' there, and i'm wondering if kishi will let this whole thing going on without some naru/sasu confrontation.

Totally agree with you on everything. I too like the idea of Madara using a body as a vessel, maybe something like Orochimaru's methods- not a farfetched theory considering that Madara had a way to preserve as many Uchiha bodies as he liked, given all the fancy equipment Nagato had at his disposal which he probably got or financed via Madara.

Naru/Sasu confrontation will be a given at some point but I'm also waiting to see what happens with Sakura/Sasuke. Girl's overdue for some action.

Ah, I remember the good old days when it took 40 chapters to take down an Akatsuki member. Now that the Raikage has shown up, it takes about three panels to snap their necks in half and move onto the next bad guy. Next! (I will miss this half of Zetsu, though, if it turns out that he's dead. R.I.P., plant boy who grows out of the floor. Also, if white Zetsu dies, I wonder if black Zetsu will eat him. O_o)

Also, this dude (http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/460/04/) (guy in the lower right panel) has the worst Gaibrows ever seen. You have to be cool enough to pull off the Gaibrow look, and I'm sorry but this guy just doesn't cut it. He brings dishonor to the Gaibrow club.

Also, I really hope Sasuke isn't being controlled. :F

I am surprised that Danzou is surprised that Sasuke is near.

The Mizukage has some sense. Gaara, on the other hand, has rather strange ideas about Akatsuki. My impression of them, when they were still alive, was that they all fought for themselves.

The Raikage still has sense enough to remind Ao of having an eye on the Hokage - seems he is not only controlled by his impulses but can still think of a minor matter (well minor compared to what Sasuke did to his brother.)

Ah, now I understand what you say about the light sabres.

Sasuke will still defend his team, taking it upon himself to fight the Samurai and keeping them out of it. (From the beginning, this has been one of the defining differences between the good guys and the bad guys in Naruto.) Also, he still has the most independent team. While he is fighting, they think how they can contribute to the team's success.

Naruto and Madara... Always the same "I just want to talk." I wonder what he is going to say about Sasuke. And "eaten up by the hatred of the ninja world"... more kitchen psychology, and morality, and I hope that it won't become the "message" of the manga. On the the other hand, hearing these words from Madara should make us distrust them.

That thing behind Sasuke definitely looks like the kyuubi in one of its early stages. I'd trust Kishimoto to invent something else if he did not mean the kyuubi.

So Sasuke is now killing the Samurai without caring.

The Raikage enters. It was time for another fight, and Sasuke/the Raikage was the most likely pairing.

As much as I am looking forward to this upcoming fight, I think the outcome is pretty much decided. Sasuke's new aura > No-need-for-doors-Raikage.

I do wish for all these other Kages to show off their skills and defeat Sasuke. No matter how new this aura is, his chakra would eventually run out and I don't think he can take on that many powerful ninjas. I think I'm just tired of Sasuke being *that* bad ass to the point where no one can touch him :/. That is, until Naruto uses his Super Duper Jesus x 10 Powers that he's been saving to use on Sasuke once again :D.

Agreed- however if Sasuke has a demon inside him now then Naruto would probably the only one who can stop him. I do want Sakura to get in a good punch too, where is she? Did she get lost on the road of life? I hope she shows up in time to hear what Madara has to say.

I think that was part of Madara's plan. Zetsu has been acting kinda funny in these last two chapters. Also, Sasuke quit Akatsuki and Madara roped him back in.

Edit: Perhaps Gaara might realize that something is up because Zetsu betrayed him?

Sasuke seems to have become careless about killing his attackers - Naruto on the other hand has become rather careless too, using his Rasengan against Tobi/Madara, not hesitating to kill him if necessary.

I have just found the Binktopia version. There Madara says "the man violated to the core by the shinobi's world hate and betrayal."

It sounds quite different than "eaten up by hatred" and much nearer to the truth, as it also names Sasuke as a victim. Though we have always to be careful of what Madara says. I wonder what he is going to tell to Naruto. And I still have no idea about his ultimate aim.

One question to the native speakers: I always thought that to hate is the verb and hatred the noun, but I have seen it mixed up rather often now.

the word hate can be a verb or a noun (verb when used with an object, noun when used w/o)
ex. I hate him. I have hate in my heart.
whereas hatred is just a noun
