The sealing statue

I was thinking about the statue that the Akatsuki sealed the bijuu into. Now, Madara will probably be defeated eventually but what will happen to the statue? Will the bijuu be released from it and, if so, will new jinchuuriki be needed for them?

I was considering this in light of the Kage meeting and the Tsuchikage saying that Kumo hadn't begun disarming. That could refer to a lot of things but it was the only village to still have two jinchuuriki at the beginning of Shippuden. (Although how widely known this was is a completely different question.)
So if they do end up making more jinchuuriki, what effect would it have on the move away from the ninja system hinted at in recent chapters?

... well, I have an AU in the works based on the idea that breaking the statue releases the bijuu and new jinchuuriki are needed... thanks for broadcasting my ~*~totally awesome and original~*~ idea :B

Well, considering that the Sanbi used to have a host, but was caught "wild", one has to imagine that there is some way for a Bijuu to remove itself, or be removed from a host without dying, and assume it's natural form. I don't think that the Bijuu necessarily need a host, but it's better for the civilized world if they do.

As far as the sealing statue goes, it could either sit there as is, the Five Kage deciding to leave the Bijuu be, as they're a more dangerous weapon than can be allowed, or they could be released, recaptured individually, and sealed into new hosts.

Yeah, that's what I was going for, the idea that they might be too dangerous to leave wild.

Maybe we'll learn more about Yagura, the Sanbi and how they parted ways soon.
