Naruto Shippuden to Disney XD

At first I read that as in Disney bought Naruto Shippuden, but they just want to have it on their channel, is that it? o.o

I think they're just licensing it to show, not owning it outright. But I've never heard of Disney XD. I'm gonna be ticked if it's finally airing and it's on a channel I don't have! Wonder if they'll be using new voices or not

The only thing I can bring myself to say out loud is, " HAHAHAHAHA... WUT?!?!?" I guess it'll pass on disney... They allow long make out sessions, so why not killing? Though of course there won't be blood *many lolz at what cartoon network did to Sasuke's Past arc, Green ooze instead of blood?*

Sai's strange attraction to Naruto will be gone.. I really am intrigued to watch this version. Instead of fighting they all sign petitions for peace! Cause that's how they do it in the real world first! Yeah I'm blabbing... Anywhos.. yay for more ruining of Naruto.. They should restart the Rising Sun on Cartoon Network, since the only anime show still on Adult Swim is Bleach. Naruto would do well on there...

all they are going to do is play it they arn't going to do anything to it. I watch disney XD all the time for spiderman, x-man and digimon. Trust me they wont do anying to it, may censor it alittle like cartoon network did.

Um the Shikamaru/Asuma vs Hidan find will in no way make it to Disney.

Disney would never show a man stabbing himself repeatedly with a scythe as a sacrifice to a God.

Shippuden is much more violent that the first half of Naruto.

Shippuuden is so much more boring than the manga. i stopped watching the anime ages ago since they kept dragging things out and made the plot take forever to develop. it cant hold my attention at all so what are the chances boys younger than me could stay interested?

Am I the only one thinking it would be totally awesome if it was like the Indiana Jones ride? Or like the Jurassic Park ride at Universal!

6 may be a little young, but Naruto is made for a younger (tween to early teen) audience, so the latter half of that age range fits in with it just fine. This is actually a good place for it, assuming they don't completely chicken out to accommodate the potential younger end of their audience spectrum.

Hmm. Are they still going to release the uncut version then? I would like my collection of DvDs to be complete and if Disney were to only release censored crap I will be pissed.

Also, Disney is pretty big on copyright violations...does this mean that the online subbing groups will be shut down along with the video streaming we are all very dependent on?

I wasn't angry about Viz's decision initally but now that I think about it....f-word.

Yeah, from what I can make of it, it does just seem like Disney are airing it on their new channel, Viz still lisence it. So I wouldn't worry about a lack of uncut dvds or anything.
