Wow, Sasuke's unhinged. ♥ Not saying that it's not a little justified-- I've always thought Sasuke's insanity has been well-deserved-- but that burst of psycho laughter is scary as hell, especially with his one eye still bleeding profusely.

Others have commented that Sasuke's attacking people now without reason or sense, but I don't know if that's true. Yes, he attacks Sakura. Yeah, she was also there to betray him and kill him...and he knew it. It's not like that's rocket science, so of course he pre-empted her strike.

I really wonder if Kishimoto's trying deliberately to show the audience how vicious and cold Sasuke's become to make the salvation arc that much more profound. After all, without falling completely into darkness then redemption is meaningless.

You know, somehow seeing Sasuke so obviously insane actually makes me feel better about the whole irredeemable, evil, moral-horizon-crossing that's going on.

Because insanity in manga can probably be handwaved at some point by the story (still under Orichimaru's control, brainwashed by Madara, blah blah...) and used to explain why he's so...stupid right now.

But if he'd been stoic and self controlled then it would have seemed more...HIM and something that can't ever be fixed.

This is seriously starting to sound like a fanfiction I once read about Sakura sacrificing her virginity to Sasuke to keep him a bit longer after she meets him after his betrayal. But it was more tasteful than that. The fanfiction was tasteful than my description of it I meant.

And also there go my sasusaku dreams I still had. Despite knowing better. I know I know. haha :)

I love Team 7/Kakashi dynamic. I just like the memories.

Sasuke is a true villain now??!?! I kinda like him this way. If he keeps it up he may become one of my favorites.

But you know, Sakura healing and interrogating Karin is just as important as the fighting going on. She has super strength and healing capabilities which makes her an uber ninja. I just hope Karin doesn't embarrass herself any more than she already has by refusing to talk about Sasuke and Madara.

Lets see, Madara said that Sasuke was basicly "bluffing" at this point after the battle with Danzou, and now Kakashi comes to the party fully rested.

So I think the real question is what it going to be pulled out to keep Sasuke alive when Kakashi has already proven that Sasuke really has no chance in this fight. (what with the grab and redirect).

Probably Madara comes in for the save, but I can at least hope Kakashi wins the fight first.

I would agree, because logically, this make sense (sasuke=tired, kakashi=fresh as morning dew) but it seems like Kishi is setting it up to really kill Kakashi this time (like he's saying his last words and talking about his regrets...) although it would be somewhat funny if Kakashi managed to survive this time as well.

Holy crap. I am fully convinced now that Sasuke is completely off his rocker. I did a double-take when he almost killed Sakura had Kakashi not stepped in (KakaSaku FTW! >.>).

Also, Kakashi, Madara has not corrupted Sasuke. Sasuke has just let himself sink deeper and deeper into derangement brought on by his anger and self-pity. I still think he's a brat who needs to start taking what life gave him and working with it. Like, STFU about your glorious revenge already.

I like Kakashi's whole "I've been a bad sensei" speech. I love Kakashi, but honestly...everything he said is true. Although I'm not sure what preventative measures he could have taken, I'm sure he could have done something. I also liked the parallelism with the third hokage. But Kishi-sensei is just full of parallelisms.
