Naruto Movie this summer!
Feb. 21st, 2010 10:26 pmI was in Tokyo this weekend for many reasons (some normal, fome rather Naruto related), and while visiting the JUMP Shop at Tokyo Dome, I spotted something that should be exciting!
A promotional poster for the anime that was ALSO advertising this summer's movie. The poster features Naruto and Sasuke, so this summer's movie will probably have Sasuke. Good if you like Sasuke, bad if you don't. Hahaha.

Anyway, no news on the title or anything else, but we are likely not to hear much of anything until the DVD of this past summer's movie gets released.
Later this week I am going to try to post a little about the JUMP stores in Tokyo and Osaka. I know some of you may visit Japan and want to check them out!
Anyway, that's all from me! I'll talk to you all soon!

Date: 2010-02-22 08:41 am (UTC)It seems that this is the time of year for filler, we should only have the Bubble Boy filler for a little while and return to the canon events soon.

Date: 2010-02-22 01:40 pm (UTC)If you have the chance, wander around Akihabara. I've heard there are some used figure shops in that area, but I haven't spent enough time there to know. I live too far away from Tokyo, and Akiba is cool but I have started to try and sight see while in town when I am there. XD Or at least that is what I twll myself, it usually ends in my going shopping in Harujuku. XD

Date: 2010-02-22 01:47 pm (UTC)I need to do a day of proper looking for anime stuff rather than just general wandering - I was in Harajuku yesterday - lots of cool stuff but unfortunately the Y vs the £ is making it all very expensive for me right now T__T. I live in Shinjuku, as of 2 days ago, so I am still unpacking etc.
Any recs for shops, fun or anything would be greatly recieved!

Date: 2010-02-22 04:03 pm (UTC)The 忍屋 and 忍者屋敷 (Ninja Mansion Maze/Haunted House with a statue of Kakashi at the entrance) are located on the second floor of the Tempozan Market Place (right next to the Osaka's Kaiyukan Aquarium). I have been there in the summer of 2008 and I hope the store is still opened because it was totally awesome!
As a bonus, there is also a Studio Ghibli's store filled with to-die-for merchandise.

Date: 2010-02-23 07:10 pm (UTC)The jump shop in Osaka is pretty small though. I always found more stuff scattered around the shops in Den Den.

I see, I thought it might be something like this. :D
How did you find the experience, if you don't me asking
and have free time to answer?no subject
Date: 2010-03-04 06:12 am (UTC)How's that for being brief and vague? If you ever have specific questions, feel free to ask. Trying to sum up a few years of your life in a quick answer tends to be... challenging. ;)

It's really great that you got a good school and your experience was positive! Makes me optimistic about maybe applying for a teacher's position in Japan.
And you could probably write a book about your time in Japanese education system and I would read it all and demand more. It's very interesting to read about people's experiences. :)
