Naruto Movie # who's counting anymore (I think 7)

Shonen JUMP came out yesterday, and there is an ad in it for the next Shippuuden movie. Like the lovely teases they are, Pierrot gave us a poster that has Naruto and Sasuke on it, but there is a catch.



If Sasuke's going to be in it, it will be brief.

I'm going off of a cell phone shot of the ad (this week was not really worth buying for me, haha), and the name of the movie is "The Lost Tower." What should interest you all is this:

Naruto's going back to the past, and he will be meeting up with his father for hijinks that will make Hiko cry for an adventure.

From what I gather (i.e. was told by my friend who was too excited for this week's splash page), there is some sort of dragon that is released and it's power sends Naruto back in time. When exactly this is, I am unsure. I'm going to be hopeful for Team Yondy action, but I highly doubt it. Outside of Kakashi as a kid showing up (oh man that'd be AWESOME), I don't think we'll see any of Team Yondy save for the great Yellow Flash himself.

I'll try and get her to scan it later, but no promises! I'll try and answer your questions, but realize at this point they are just throwing teaser things out. Movie comes out July 31st, and tickets are going on presale sometime this month I believe. I will probably be buying my movie ticket soon because there is cool freebie stuff (you get a clear file. I am not ashamed to admit I like material goods).

The Shippuden movie "Those Who Inherit the Will of Fire" comes out April 29th I think! The special set comes with a drama CD! Better then last year's huge book of nothingness (I did NOT buy it, this is the only Naruto movie I am ever buying, so no, I don't actually know what the book was about).



Anyway, I hope that gets you excited! I'm hoping for more info on the movie coming up with the next episodes, but I doubt it.

The DVD doesn't come out until the end of the month! So it's not been released just yet.

Still anxiously waiting for Shippuden movie 3, I heard animeshout is going to have a subbed version by april 21st?

I would be questionable of the quality of that release. They won't have the DVD until that day, and it is 90 minutes. Any translation they did would be a very rushed job, with little quality control. Unless that group is an official group (like whoever's doing the crunchy roll work, though I doubt that is a "group" per say), they should not be releasing the same day as the movie.

Dattebayo will be putting out their own release of the movie, I would wait for their release. ;3

Holy shi-

I thought Naruto meeting Minato in the physical realm was only possible in fanfics, but gosh I might actually watch this movie. Time travel ftw. And I love Minato for whatever little screentime he had, so this movie would be lovely.

Too bad that I'm going to be working my ass off in Stanford during that time, or else I'd totally go to Japan for this and a few other things.
