Your shadows don't have enough contrast, for a few seconds I thought it was all flat colors -- just one skin area + one hair area + green dots and yellow bandages. I don't know if that's how your screen is set up?

i agree with askerian; it still looks very flat and i think that you need to add more shading to the face and hair in particular in order to make it stand out.

i don't know what system you're using to color, but maybe this tutorial (http://community.livejournal.com/withlace/4278.html) can help you.

Oh, thank you. I thought so too. I don't know why, but I don't want to make the shadows to dark, yet I always seem to make them too light.

I'm gonna go read that tutorial. Thank you again for the advice. :)

very nice. I'm not the best expert. I'm still learning myself. But, when you start doing this more and more, you'll get to know how to use different colors and highlights that makes the picture really stand out!

I'm sure you're very good. :) You probably have been at it longer anyway. This actually only the second picture I colored. I think it's pretty good considering that.
