One powerful woman, please, Kishimato. BUT THIS IS A FILLER I BET and Madara will be "called away" by the arrival of Kisame's shark when he's fighting Konan because Konan cannot die! (Please no. :s) But I would like to see more of both of them in action - we haven't really seen either character fight.

But she hid away the Rinnegan? Does that mean that Nagato's eyes can be transplanted (like the Sharingan and all other kekkei genkai)? What does Madara want the Rinnegan for? The same reason why he has the eye collection? (Is Konan going to have a surprise!Rinnegan? Or a secret Nagato lovechild? Which would be kind of cool.)

What happened to Sasuke? And Kabuto? :s

But his death was a good one and that last little trap displays his genius. Maybe he wasn't Itachi's level, but Kisame was still one smart shinobi. Did anyone else feel the need to play the jaws theme?

Konan, I hope you'll get a decent, badass battle before Madara kicks your ass eventually, rather being made to demonstrate the general ineptitude of the other female characters we've seen so far.

Okay.

Naruto learns to see things from the other person's point of view. He began when he listened to Nagato, now he's making progress:

"He did it so that us, the enemy, would not get the info. Even people in Akatsuki act for the sake of their comrades."

So he's able to realize that in the eyes of his enemies, he's the enemy. Also we learn that "acting for your comrades" is completely worthless as a criterion to decide whether a person is good or evil. Kisame doesn't betray Akatsuki - Madara, after all, gave his life a new direction - but Konan does, first leaving it, then becoming an ally of Naruto and now hiding Nagato's Rinnegan. Who of them is the good guy? And if Konan's loyalty is only to Nagato?

1. Why Nagato? Is that a translation glitch? Does that mean Konan is hiding the power of life and death (Nagato's jutsu?). 'Cuz Madara would reallly go for that.
2. The whole eye collection thing is just so...icky.
