Ah. That episode...Hm. It's at the end of either 41 or 42 (Shippuden, of course). It's from one of the filler outtakes, when Naruto and Sakura are demonstrating how to train. I don't have the episode labeled properly in my video editor, but it's one of those two eps.

The mini-outtake also features the gang doing aerobics, with Rock Lee in a pink 80's-style exercise top. It's rather epic. :D

Love it! I like the way you interspersed the scenes of running through Oro's hideout throughout--it kept the sense of urgency/tension going. And it's always a pleasure to see a well-done shonen amv with a song that's slow and thoughtful rather than some trendy post-grunge song. (Not that the latter can't be good, too, I just get a bit tired of them. This is much more to my taste!)

Yeah, especially with the slow songs, I try to keep some sort of visual aid or "through-line" going with the video, to give it a sense of story. More music-video style than fanvid style, I guess. I don't know. It's funny that I've developed a "style" though.

Thumbs way, way up. I love this song, I love what you did with this video. It's so hard to find videos that are more than just endless fight scenes set to angry music. This is just what I've been looking for. Your timing was spot on. Great job!

Awww, thank you so much! I just finished my first draft of a new Naruto/Sakura video (also with a slower, more meditative song), and this is giving me the courage to dive back into it. THERE ARE SO MANY CLIPS TO CHOOSE FROM. It makes me crazy sometimes. I keep thinking "ooh...but what about *this* scene," and then I have to rip the video apart to fit the new clips into it. :P (/blathering)

Anyhow...I hope to have it up next weekend. :) (It's to a newer Cyndi Lauper song and the lyrics...guh. They're just too, too perfect for these two characters.)
