And why does the Uzumaki clan have a mask temple in Konoha? I always thought that only Mito and Kushina married into Konoha, and that the Uzumaki themselves weren't a clan from Konoha.

Date: 2013-01-30 10:31 am (UTC)When Uzushiogakure was destroyed the entire village was dispanded. Since Kushina (or her parents?) were fugitives they either something from home with them or rebuild what was important to their culture. Same reason's why there are China Towns in Amercia.

Date: 2013-01-30 10:15 am (UTC)Even without being a SasuNaru Fan, I appreciate the fact that Sasuke used (almost?) the same spot as Naruto, when he looked over the village. And Orochimaru is quite right, Konoha "Is still his brithplace."
The shrine and the Hokages ... I'm surprised, but not as much as I should be.
There's something balanced about Sasuke meeting the Hokages, perhaps because they are the only ones who are unlikely to lie to him. They have enough expirience to understand the gravity of the situation.
I wonder if Hashirama runs of at some point to
reunitefight with Madara?And: Why did Orochimaru find the mask so fast? Has he relations to the Uzumaki? Or did someone tell him?
I notice that we still don't know who Orochimaru's parents were. We only know that they were strong shinobi, who died both in battle.
Orochimaru's silence after Suigetsu's question proves that there is something he's hiding.

When he's Hokage he will use it as reason to paradon Orochimaru and let him return to Konoha, so he and Tsuande can grow old together.
What's with Suigetsu complaining about Orochimaru in the previous chapter, where he is reluctant to be even near him, but now he calls him 'Orochimaru-sama'?
habit, I guess. The Sandaime is still the Hokage, even if he ordered the Uchiha Massacre. Same as Danzo.

Also the zetsus coming out of Sasuke, blargh. The longer this manga goes on, the more body horror will occur. O_o
Now I want Hashirama and Madara to meet, just for the lols. Especially considering all the time Madara spent complaining that none of the current kages are as good as Hashirama. XD

After all, Orochimaru isn't tame or "nice" now just because he's been dead-- or dormant-- for a while. I mean, it's a possibility, but this is more likely just his teacher-side. He couldn't have been with Sasuke for three years, and god only knows how many other kids for how long, without acting like a normal human being some of the time and actually teaching them things. I do like though, how much he holds back.

- Again Sasuke's body (and the hidden Zetsus) are the talk of the town
- I would never have expected the Hokages to be microwaved again. Too many resurrections, the whole manga is one big revival. How is the new generation ever gonna surpass the old one if all the great guys are dead? Anyways, I like this development... a lot! Naruto gets to talk to the powerful Uchihas, Sasuke gets the Senju Kages.
- What are the chances the whole bad reputation of the Uchiha was just a misunderstanding built up over the centuries? So when the latest Hokages talk about how bad they all are, Shodai will just be like "Whut?" :P
- Orochimaru seems all to content with the recent development, team Sasuke should be careful around him. BTW if he knew about the secret Uzumaki relics all the time why didn't he get his arms back earlier? Nevermind.
- does this mean the other half of the Kyuubi chakra is out now?
- Now I really hope for a MadaHashi reunion and then they can happily go to Nirvanaasfgsdhfj *spazzes* haven't been this excited about the manga for a long time

I also really want Madara to realize that Hashirama is alive, if not directly fight him. Just sense his chakra from the battlefield or something and ditch Obito to meet his old rival.
Also hoping for a lot of Sarutobi making :/ about Orochimaru like damn, child, can you please just stop this b.s. (Also the heartbreaking potential there is if Minato gets on the battlefield... Hi, Kakashi. Hi, Obito-who-actually-killed-me. Hi son. Hahaha... actually I wonder if Orochimaru even knows that Minato is Naruto's father? I hope so...)
So we've got the Senju and the Uchiha on the scene. About time to make familial peace with each other, huh guys. Maybe with this, things'll FINALLY pick up to a bearable pace. And make sense. Somewhat.
ETA: Curious how Kyuubi Chakra is going to change, as well. Since the Kyuubi Chakra now is 100% Yang, now the Yin Chakra is released so I'm guessing NEW ABILITIES FOR NARUTO! .-.

I'm pretty positive he does know, though I can't validate that at the moment. I seem to remember noticing that detail once before. (I used to write a lot of Orochimaru, so I details like that were really relevant to me.)
