Kakashi is back! Glad Shikamaru lived. Loved his speech about him being Naruto's right hand, comparing their friendship to Hashi and Tobi. Overall nice chapter, effective use of flashbacks (imo, anyway).
Everyone is on the field of battle now, except Anko and Yamato. Will they ever reappear?
I am so glad Kakash's okay and preparing to get back in the game, he needs to be there when Obito's taken down. Even better, it'd be so awesome if it's him finally taking him down, but I doubt that'll happen. As for Yamato and Anko, aren't they knocked out?
He was recovering, I assume, since Obito did stab him in the gut. And tbh, I don't care how useful he would've been, there are a number of non-useful characters we see in the real world but they're not my favourites so I'd rather see him. :D
Did Yamato and Anko ever get rescued from wherever Kabuto had them way back when? Because I recall Yamato getting sucked into the creepy Hashirama plant thing and I don't remember him ever appearing again. ...or the plant thing, for that matter. Man, that whole arc was like an acid trip with the flying snake and hiding in the nose and all. I miss those days...
Am I the only one utterly bored by this chapter? Yadda yadda Naruto is the greatest and inspires everyone...for the 1000th time. Let me know when anything relevant happens in the manga again.
Is it just me, or was the art in this chapter somehow...off? Naruto usually has really crisp, well-drawn art, but this chapter somehow everything seemed wonky.
This chapter was too cheesy for me...although I usually like the cheese, this fell on the glurge side rather than the awesome side for me. A while ago everyone's dream was to become Hokage; now they all want to be Naruto's advisers instead? Because of seeing his memories I guess? And of course, the one thing Sakura is allowed to do in this manga, heal, and Naruto just *has* to do for her because he is just *that* special. Well, at least Ino thanked the doctor, even if the patient didn't. Sigh, having Naruto just doing everything and pouring chakra into everyone just doesn't work for me.
And then...the kages saying that Hashirama's dream doesn't even need to be discussed...I guess the idea is that they just obviously believe in it so it doesn't even need to be debated again? Except that it seems like there are still tensions between the villages that really do need discussion, although obviously at a later date. I liked the Tsuchikage's speech, though. The earth is with them!
Meh...I'm still hoping that Infinite Tsukuyomi works and they have to figure out how to stop it from the inside. That could be pretty cool.
And ShikaNaru is one of my favorite friendships in the entire series, so I'm thrilled that it made such a strong appearance in this chapter. It makes sense that Shikamaru would end up being Naruto's advisor in the future, considering that he helped cheer up Naruto in the past and he offsets Naruto's emotional personality with his more intellectual approach to things.
