K I was just wondering on this one...

The deal with Garaa right now leads many of us to believe (as much as we may not want it to) that Garaa is dead now that the Shukaku has been extracted from him. Also, many people will go as far as to say "He's not dead! He can't be dead! Garaa I LUV U!!!!!!" And so on... But heres a idea...

Maybe Kishimoto wants him dead for a good reason, not just an afterthought to Akatsuki's plans.

Personally I believe that Garaa has been through enough in his life. While being a awesome character, he has been throught hell and back with the Shukaku incident, his mother, his childhood, the constant fear of his existance etc. Now that Garaa has somewhat found his place and he has become the new Kazekage others have aknowledged him for who he is. This is seen when he is fighting Deidara and the other ninja are cheering him on. This may be a lasting peace to him that leaves him with little regret. Also, in classic Kage fasion, Garaa succeeded in saving the village by sacrificing himself. Sound familiar?

So tell me what you think, bad or good. It'll give you something to do ;)

I agree with you about Haku. To me, Haku knew he mattered to Zabuza. He was much more at peace about everything than Gaara was. I'm not sure Gaara actually knows he matters. I don't think he does, because we have that whole conversation that seems to take place in his head where he basically asks why he ever lived at all. Gaara STILL doesn't really know what he lived for, and I don't think Gaara can until he realizes that people care about him. Which is why I refuse to believe he's dead. >.>
