I have a request for all you kind Chuunin folk. I think I'm going to attempt Orochimaru cosplay for Otakon this year, but because I have to fly from LA, getting his giant purple obi to Baltimore poses a problem for me. So I'm looking for alternative outfits XD

Any screencaps of Orochimaru's other costumes are very appreciated :D Also, what anime episodes/manga chapters they appear in, for referance.

I've been a member of this comm for so long, but I don't think I've ever posted before. *is baffled*

So, I was going through my icon archive, and I realized that I had a lot of Naruto icons that were just sitting around and not really being used. I thought to myself, 'Sora, did you ever get around to posting these icons in, you know, conspicuous places like you do all your other ones?' The answer was a big, fat, resounding 'NEGATORY.'

sims 2 temari outfit, take two: now with fan!

okay, this is not a repeat post. to make the story short, i attempted sims 2 meshing and 3D modeling for the very first time today, and eventually got successful (and very pleased)! this is my first mesh project, temari's clothing with a fan (for those who missed it, i posted a fan-less temari yesterday).

actually it's just a black rectangle, but i'm still new to this. i do hope i can further develop this new "skill" so i can make more accurate naruto sims outfits/accessories. i find it amusing that it was narutarding that got me into learning this ^^. enjoy!

Well this is my first fic, but I'm pretty happy with it so far and the feedback I've had has been positive so I thought I'd go searching for more ^^

Title: 'The Way of War'
Rating: M/Teen: mainly for violence
Pairing: None established yet, small romance possible later
Length: Currently 5 chapters, approx 7k words
Summary: "It's been 5 years since the trouble with the Akatsuki organisation was concluded but now Konoha has been thrown back into the depths of war. The hidden village of rock's objectives and reasons are shrouded in shadow and from the darkness step forward old acquaintances and old enemies. How will Konoha survive and who will make a name for themselves amidst the conflict?"

Konnichiwa, good people. See, I as doing this homework where you read a story and record the reading strategies that you used, and one of the stories was about crossword puzzles. So, being how I am, I had to make a Naruto-themed one. XD

I didn't want to post this on a big community, but it wasn't getting ANY reviews at all. And I don't deal well with criticism (Or OC haters)... Whatever. (PS, sorry for two posts within like half an hour of each other. :P)

Characters (*ed characters are OCs): Yamanaka Ino, Uzumaki Ritsuko*, Yoshiaki Isano* (Ino got married, but I just put her maiden name.), Yoshiaki Isako*, Uzumaki Cerise*, Uzumaki Naruto, Nara Shikara* (WOO TemarixShikamaru forever. They got married. ♥)
Pairings: NarutoxCerise (OC) at the very end... But not much.
Genre: Uh... I really don't know. Romance at the end, but not a lot, so... Realistic (In the Naruto sense of the word) Fiction?
Rating: PG (For mild swearing)
Summary: The kids are only six, and they're a big handful. Cerise can't be a kunoichi until little Ritsuko can take care of herself, and who knew how long that could take?
Preview: Cerise pulled open the freezer, dismayed to find that they had no strawberry. They did, however, have a full pack of cherry.

Cerise shot a sideways glance at Ritsuko, who stood explaining to Isano and Isako the difference between "captain" and "subordinates," though she called them "lackeys." Would she really notice if she had cherry...? Is the taste really that different...?

One way to find out.

Thanks to the lovely people who provided me the links to the Naruto OAV Specials, I was able to watch and make screencaps of the third one. ^__^

I included screenshots of Team 7, Team 8, Team 10, Team Suna, and Team Gai, along with various others.

The main reason I bothered with watching it at all was to get my Gaara fix. XD And OMG, DID I. He makes the most freakin' ADORABLE facial expressions in this! *swoons*

Anime in New York?

So, I live in Arizona where it's hot and there are no anime places, that I know of. Or good ones atleast.

But, this Thursday I'm going to New York! And I've heard about a lot of anime stuff up there, especially Naruto things, so I was wondering for you New Yorkers or those who have been there, are the rumors true? And, if they are, where are these places? Addresses or cross roads or even cities are fine for me!

heyy.. i'm kinda new to this comm., but i've been lurking around here for a while..

the thing is, i'm looking for this fic that i read on ffnet a while ago, but i can't seem to remember the title..

the story is about how hanabi is supposed to find a suitor to get married to. garaa and itachi are supposed to be her suitors, but instead they fall for hinata, and they're trying to gain her affection. garaa has taken hinata to his dojo for some karate(?) lessons, and itachi has taken hinata to his cabin in the woods to get to know her better..

That makes the collection complete until another member shows up in the manga.

The Sir Leader one was a pain to make, since there were no full-body frontal shots and I had to improvise. XD;; And I included a few details like making the barcode on his sign a series of "0000000" and obscured his height and added some bloodstains and whatnot. ^_^
