I was contemplating making a post like this before reading the spoilers for the new chapter, but some of the things said in that post have cinched it. I am getting extremely baffled by the whole needs moar strong wimmins trend I keep seeing in fandom (granted, there's nothing wrong with having new cool-looking girls, but this is a long-standing bit of logic), so I wanted to make a few observations about value judgments.

Why bad-assery is not NECESSARILY the end-all, be-all, and why you could say a lot of the so-called geniuses aren't actually so well off )

Oh wow. First of all, a very big, hearty thank-you to everyone who was kind enough to leave me a review for the first chapter! I thought I was going to be largely ignored for writing something this unapologetically soapy. But ridiculous heaps of thanks goes to my reviewers. I would probably not have bothered to write this second chapter without the knowledge that someone else is enjoying this besides me.

Title: Lords and Ladies, Chapter 2
Fandom: Naruto
Series: Lords and Ladies
Characters/Pairings: Sasuke/Hinata/Gaara, Neji, Itachi, Naruto/Sakura, Ino, TBA
Rating: R
Summary: Lady Hinata had expected that her life would change after being married to Lord Sasuke in a sham marriage meant to throw off the chains of their respective families. But she had no idea that the greatest of worries was only now coming...
Note: This is a purely silly, frothy, fun modern-day AU that takes place with Konoha and Suna still intact but rearranged in strange ways.

Such naivety didn't make her an innocent in any way, not even sexually. Members of the Hyuuga clan, after all, tended to be exposed to the facts of life early. It wasn't hard to be a little blasé about something as mundane as human sexuality after the 34th time they accidentally used their Byakugan where they shouldn't have and caught sight of something they *truly* did not wish to see in the bed-chambers of their next-of-kin. If he had lived long enough, Freud would have had a field day with Hinata's family.

Title: theme #50, Ramen
Author: paws_bells
Characters/pairings: Uchiha Itachi and Haruno Sakura
Genre: Romance/General
Word Count: 6803
Disclaimer: Naruto does not belong to me.
Rating: T(Contains content not suitable for children)
Summary: Non-massacre AU. Their unlikely love story started inside a Ramen Bar, of all places. She had yelled her confession to him for the world to hear, but he had walked away. Of course, he hadn't known then how determined she could be.
