Chuunin - A Naruto Community

Yes this is partly a RP Pimpage post but I'm putting it under a cut so those of you who aren't interested in those sorts of things don't have to be bothered. I will however pose a question so you do feel this post has some use to you.

Does anyone else feel that Izumo and Kotetsu are the Naruto equivalent of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern? I love Hamlet (second only to Macbeth), so at the risk of prompting a few disturbing fan fiction ideas, I took to comparing them a bit further. I mean Sasuke's angsting might come close to Hamlet's and Sakura could make a decent Ophelia (though honestly the role could be filled by Hinata just as well). Naruto would be Laertes and Itachi... definitely Claudius.

Then I remember why I went into computer science instead of literature... But in any case, my question is do you ever find yourself comparing Naruto to other works, not necessarily other anime?
