So this evening I found myself bored, and since I haven't done any fanart for awhile, I decided it was time to start sketching. Anyway, this is what I came up with:

You've probably seen it on the front page of Narutofan.com. But I'll repeat it now, Kyle Herbert from Funimation will be voicing Kiba on the Naruto dub.

I'm ecstatic personally. Wonder what type of voice he'll use for Kiba. Anyway, for those of you who haven't heard of him, his site offers some voice demos of his commercial, narration and animation. You've might of heard of him as Teen Gohan on DBZ though.

Hmm, not sure whether this has been posted before...

But as you all know, the Naruto fandom is a GOLDMINE of crack pairings, what with the 1463+ combinations you can get from pairing any and every character. You'd think there wasn't a pairing under the sun that hasn't been written about, but surprise surprise, I stumbled upon a Haku/Kiba fic on ff.net. O_o

...that...never really occured to me...Haku/Kiba...but they both like animals!...so it could work? Maybe? @_O

But anyway!

The question:

What pairing would you like to see that hasn't been written yet? Who knows, maybe I or someone else will try to write a drabble/oneshot for it. (I need to rev the writing mojo anyway. ^_~)

But yeah, share a crack pairing you're interested in seeing, and give a little insight on why/how it might work!

Ex. *thinks* Er...Sasuke/Tsunade? O_o Um, because...*draws ------------*

WTF moment for me: Dubbed Haku sounds just like my mom!

Seriously it freaked me out for a moment because I was doing something else and was half listening and then I heard "I'm in a really foul mood" from Haku and I went O_O "Mom?"

Anywho I did find a torrent of the dub and I sent it to my mom who is now equally freaked out that there is some voice actor out there that sounds just like her.

Thought I share my wtf-ness with you all.

"On the next episode of Dragon Ba--er Naruto.." The horror.. The horror.

I'm not really sure how much I should be complaining, considering that I'm the kind of person who tends to dislike just about every american voice actor in favor of the japanese ones. I know for some people, that can be pretty annoying. There are gonna be people who disagree with my dismay over this news, and that's cool with me. There ARE a few dubs that I have approved of in the past, so don't get me wrong. For me though, the naruto one just keeps getting worse and worse. If I had seen the dub before seeing the origional, I would probably never care to see the origional. It's just..bad..

Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts on this developement?

There was another post about this very recently, haha. Sorry for redundancy. The other one is of a totally different opinion than mine, so now I'm intrigued. Maybe Herbert isn't the voice I am thinking of? The roles he's played are all kind of obscure, except the dragon ball z ones and I wasn't too impressed with those.

My vote is no. I really have nothing to back that up other than these two things:
1) Completely different jutsus
2) Konoha forehead protector. Sasuke's got gashed and he left it behind.

So what's your take?


And even if Sai isn't Sasuke then I still think that Deidara is Ino.


By the way. Kiba = Saiyaman. YES!!!!!!!

Custom Plush JIRAIYA

Oh my goth, I am finally DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!!!

This is a custom Jiraiya plush from the Naruto series. I will be auctioning him off on Ebay in the near future.

This took me about 16 episodes worth of Classic Star Trek...which is about sixteen hours! (give or take an hour) I spent a good six of those hours tailoring the clothes to fit juuuuust right, for in my first Jiraiya attempt the clothes were far too tight (his poor family jewels T_T ) For his fishnet/mesh shirt I used two layers of different tool fabric (one fine detailed and the other larger) in this picture, it is hard to see the fine detailed layer. His shoes, forhead and hand protecters are all made from sculpty. He measures about 10 inches.

Now that I have Jiraiya's pattern down, Orochimaru is next (OMG!) and then Tsunade!

I want to thank Mr. Spock for helping me get through many long hours of sewing
