Frankly, the more I think about it, the more I find that I like the Sakura in that movie the most. You gotta admit, that was a clever attack. ( Spoiler for Part Two )
Kunoichi Fic Rec:
On Winged Lens by Mechalich
During the timeskip Aburame Shino is sent to retrieve a simple scroll, yet gains a glimpse of something far more complex and dangerous. Now only his unique knowledge and the aid of a stone ninja he dare not fully trust he must try to unravel a conspiracy
It starrs an OC (*gasp*, teh words of DOOM), but don't worry, it's a pretty awesome OC. I read only up to around chapter 6, and am pretty worried about the Shino/OC undertones (*death to romance*, give us the ninja fights!), plus the "I really hate killing people thing", but all in all, awesome. For one thing, this fic actually has actual ninja battles along with ninja stuff, like information retrival mission. Plus politics and backgrounds of the villages.
I like the OC so far, she's a kunoichi from Iwagakure (my new favourite village thanks to fandom), and the awesome background stuff comes in where it was explain that some ninjas in Iwa, in addition to their ninja rank, take on titles according to the type of their art trade and the level they are at. Iwagakure, being cold and stoney and cut off from the rest of the world during winter times, is very artsy. The OC's is glass, of which all of her special attacks and ninja stuff is based on. Also features a super clever attack where she throws a kunai made of glass, and when the enemy deflects it, it shatters in his face.

As for this latest addition to the "Guys-as-Sai" series, I thought of the request for Kankurou and something inside me begged to do it, so I did. However, unlike his little brother, who was by himself to accomodate all the pissed off sand, Kankurou found himself modeling for an audience...
( Kankurou should have known that his family would never let him live this one down... )

PS2 Naruto game

A Hypothetical Discussion.

A while back, I'd posed a question to my own Friends List:
"If the characters from Naruto were put into a Battle Royale situation, who would win?"
No clear winner could be determined, but it's been poking at me again the last few days.
So, let's say that just the kids - no adults, i.e. Kakashi, Iruka, Jiraiya, etc. - were in a "kill or be killed" environment, and to level the playing field, they don't have any access to any Jutsus, nor do Sharingan or Byakugan work.
Who would win?
(Reasoning behind picks is preferable. And "Naruto, because he's the hero!" doesn't fly, either.)
Edit: EVERYTHING is nullified. No seals and no tapping into demon chakra allowed.
And I mean this Battle Royale.
